I can't make up my mind if I want to buy the set or not... I am making a fair amount of money off of rushing people to forge. I think if I will save up after I buy my other chars the 15k armor.
If you are wondering: Yes I can run to Droknar's Forge from beacons pearch. I can solo it for most of the way. But in Dreadnot's I like to use my group as meatshields incase any arcanists aggro me. Other than that, I can make it alone.

it seems to me that the only armor that looks decent all around for the male is the Knight Armor. the fissure armor for the war male just looks horrible at the legs.. its just too thin. *also said in another thread*. but its decent, but like a previous poster said, it is not worth the money for it isnt "cool" enough. ^_^

There is only 2 helms for a warrior:
Ascalon Helm
80 armor
+10 armor vs physical attacks
Reduces damage from attacks
+1 to tactics
Wyvern Helm
85 armor
+10 armor vs physical attacks
+1 to strength
Both these helms look the exact same. As with all FoW armor peices.

i disagree about the knight armor. i used to like the knight armor but it got old real fast. if they made an upgraded version of it i think it would be really nice as for the legs on the fissure armor, it doesnt look too bad but it could use a little improvement i think. they should make the legs look thicker.

could someone please explain to me where do you get the fissure armor? I at first thought it was in the underworld, but after reading this I see that's not true.

you get Fissure armor in Fissure not the Underworld, hence the name. Fissure can be accessed by kneeling at the Balthazar statue in The Temple Of The Ages when we have the favor of the gods.

once you do what kratos says, you have to do 2 quests first then get the quest from the eternal weaponmaster which takes you to the crafter

Kratos, when you have completed the Fissure, can you go back without having to do all of the quests again, or is it always required?

Just doing the crafter is not completing Fissure. There is at least three enormous areas that I haven't fully explored yet, which probably have missions somewhere in them. One is a second tower like the one from the first quest. Another is a huge forest thats all on fire. A third is a place you can turn into in the first area. (I think it leads to the spider cave but I'm not entirely sure). Among these areas I tend to find NPC's that just stand there, like Miko or some dude over near the crafter. Does anyone know their purpose?

Actually you don't have to do any quests before getting the Weaponsmith's quest which takes you to the Armourer. From there you do his first quest, to get the second at which time he shows you what he has to offer.
And yes that is a very small portion of the Fissure, you start in the staging area (what I like to call it), then can go down onto the plains area or SE (I think it is) onto the beach and up throught cave. If you're looking for the Weaponsmith/Armourer quest then head to the plains. Left of the plains is the Forrest/Wailing Lord Quest (obtained from the first Ghost after completing his 1st quest). Past the plains is a wicked looking area with Hydras where everything looks like it's burning (haven't been into that much, as previously stated...hard to get groups dedicated to 3-4 hrs in the fissure)

The armor isn't very flattering to a warrior's physique. I wish they had made it less bulky.

You make it sound as if anything could compliment a warrior's "physique".
